Activities from April 9-29

April 9 – in our midweek service, brother Jay taught the lesson on “Mark 11”.

April 12I went to visit brother Arnold and sister Venus Supnad. They are siblings and are already been baptized into Christ. Their grandmother who is taking care of them is always attending services and she asked my help to bring them back to the church. I talked to both of them and taught the importance of serving the Lord.

April 13 – in our Lord’s day service here in Tuguegarao, brother Jun taught “Tailored Religion” wherein denominations make their own doctrines and gave additions to the bible. In the sermon, brother Jay preached about “Does the Lord know you?” There are many ways on how we could tell that God knows us and one of them is if we do His will.

In the afternoon at Palca, I preached to them about “The Common Excuses of Man” not to obey the gospel and for the brethren not to remain faithful because of many trials and temptations.

April 14, I preached in the radio program about “Generosity”, one way that brings us happiness in our lives, not just on those whom we share what we have.

April 15, in our preachers’ bible study, brother Flor Respicio taught in the morning about “The life of Paul”, from his life as a Pharisee until his missionary journeys. In the afternoon, he taught “Galatians 1”.

April 16, in our midweek service, I taught “Mark 12”, about the parable of the tenants, paying taxes, the resurrection, the greatest commandment, warning against the teachers of the law and the widow’s gift.

April 20, in our Lord’s day service here at Tuguegarao, brother Jun taught in our bible study about “Dare to be Ananais”, the one who have the courage to preach to Paul when the Lord asked him to do it. In the sermon, I preached to them about “What is that in your hand?” A question God asked to Moses when he was asked to go to Pharaoh, and he answered the rod. We all have something in our hand like the bible which we should use in our everyday lives.

In the afternoon, I preached the same lesson at Palca.

April 22, in our preachers’ bible study, brother Efren taught Galatians 2.

April 26, I went to Palca to visit brother Dondon Santiago. He was baptized when he is 12 years of age and now he is already in college. It is a little bit hard to convince young people this days to come to church because of many temptations coming from their friends who are non-Christians but together with his mother, we all prayed together to ask God for guidance.

April 27, in our Lord’s day service, brother Jun taught in our bible study about “He climbed a tree to see Jesus”, the tax collector named Zaccheuss is a very good example of a man wanting to see Jesus and ready to repent of his sins. In the sermon, brother Jerome preached “The challenges of a mid-life crisis”. The challenges in our life when we reach the middle age which is 40 that includes family problems, health problems and more.

In the afternoon, I preached at Palca about “Sin is still wrong”. Whatever we do if we transgress the law of God, it is called sin and every sin that we commit, there is a punishment when not repented.

April 28, I preached in the radio program about “Miracles we received”. Not like the miracles Jesus did but miracles that God gave to us like our life that He breathe into the formed man and the forgiveness of our sins that we could also have salvation.

April 29, in our preachers’ bible study, brother Edgar Licodini taught “Galatians 3”.
