May 14, in our preachers' bible study, brother Rody
shared to us the lesson about "Paul and His Conversion". He started
from being the Saul who persecutes the christians until the time he was
confronted by Jesus in Acts 9 to his conversion.
May 15, I was invited brother Jun to go with him in Maguirig to visit some of the contacts. We went to three different houses and shared the gospel to them. The last one was also a thanksgiving wherein we all prayed together for the grand daughter of one of our brother there.
In the evening in our midweek service, we studied "Matthew
4" that brother Jerome presented. He talks about what we can learn from
the temptation of Jesus Christ in the wilderness and as a christian how can we
battle Satan with all his tactics.
May 16, we went to the Gospel Meeting at two places (Utan
and Cataratan, both in Allacapan). The travel was far because of the kind of
road they have. In the morning, we were at Utan where I am one of the speakers.
The first speaker was brother Larry who preached about "Salvation and the
Bible". I didn't hear all the lesson because we were late in arriving the
place. I was the second speaker and I preached about "The Gospel that
teach us the truth". Part of my lesson is to know who is the right God,
right Savior, right Church and right Baptism. the last speaker was brother Jun
who preached about "Paths to Salvation: the false teachings". Many of
our denominational friends are saying that any church you wanted to join will
all lead to salvation if you live righteously and with fear to the Lord but as
the bible says, Jesus is the only way and being a member of His church is the
only path to salvation.
In the afternoon, we went to Cataratan. On our way, we
had a flat tire at the top of the mountain and just this week, we heard from
the news that the same place where we had a flat tire, the armies of our nation
was ambush by rebels and many were killed. We had learned that the place is
where this revels usually pass by and we are lucky because that time where we
are stock in there, God take care of us. After half hour, we finally get the
tire back and we continued on our way to Cataratan.
The first speaker was brother Joeben Jacobo who preached
about "The Great Invitation of Christ". Followed by brother Robert Pader
who preached "What is the best thing I can do as a Christian?". This
is a very encouraging lesson because he showed us ways on how we can share the
gospel and how to live right with God each day. The last speaker was brother
Denis Yuson who preached about "Identity of a true Christian". He
compared the so-called christians of the denomination and on the bible.
No baptism but I know we encouraged much the brethren in
that area. Sorry I have no pictures on the Gospel Meeting.
May 18, we went to Palca for another home bible study. I
invited brother Edgar Corpuz and brother July Aguinaldo. We all joined in
singing and brother Edgar preached about "Patience". We are at sister
Adelaida Fernandez' house again for the second week in a row because they
requested to do so. Her daughter just arrived coming from a vacation in their
province.

May 19, in our Lord's day service here at Tuguegarao,
brother Jerome taught in our bible study about "The works of the Lord are
great" from His creation, His word, His salvation, His church and His
promises. In the sermon brother Rody preached again the lesson about "The
bible".
In Palca, I preached to them about "The courageous
victory of David". We too can be victorious like him when he fought
Goliath if we can handle the trials and temptations in our lives and just to
trust in God all the time.
May 21, in our preachers bible study, we had a brother
who is from Bicol who came to our place. He is brother Jun Layusa and he taught
in our bible study. He shared the lesson about "Bible Authority".
This is not the first time I heard about this topic but he presented it in a
different way that make me understand more. In the afternoon, brother Virgilio
Bocarile taught on "Romans 4".
In the evening, we went to the wake of our late sister
Catalina Tumaliuan. She is about 70 years of age and is troubled with different
illness for a long time. We had a service in their house wherein we all joined
in singing led by me, brother Jay and brother Fred while brother Rody preached
about what Jesus said "Learn of Me".
May 22, we went to the Aquib, Piat. I
was ask to lead a song for us to open the activity. The first speaker was brother
Jerome who preached about "Ask, seek, Knock". The second speaker was
brother Jun Layusa who preached about "Responsibilities of the local
church". the last speaker in the morning was brother Rody who preached
about "God has Spoken"Gospel Meeting at A
In the afternoon, the first speaker was brother Geronimo
Ganela where he preached about "Kingdom of God is at Hand" and the
last speaker was brother Rody again who preached about "Why we are losing
our young people". No baptism but all the lessons are worth it.
In the evening, in our midweek service here at
Tuguegarao, brother Jun Layusa shared the same lesson he preached in the Gospel
Meeting as requested by our elders.
May 26, in our Lord's day service here at Tuguegarao brother Jun preached about "Power of Invitation" and brother Jerome
preached about " Heaven surely worth it?".
In the afternoon at Palca, I preached to them about
"Increasing our opportunities to share the gospel". I choose to share
to them this lesson because I wanted to teach them the ways on how we can share
the gospel like when we are in our work, in our house, through our cellphones
and many other ways.
May 28, in our preachers bible study, brother Robert shared
to us some of the doctrines from the Jehovah's witnesses like "What is the
earth that is in Matthew 5:5" that they claim, it is the land where we are
now. But we all shared thoughts and came to the point that is the new earth that
Jesus is referring in the book of Revelation.
In the afternoon, we studied "Romans 5" the
brother Ronald Valdez discussed to us.
May29, in our midweek service, brother Jun shared to us
the lesson on "Matthew 5". The Beatitudes and the new laws that Jesus
made.
