Preaching Activities from November 3 to December 5, 2021

November 3 (Midweek service)

We continue to study the book of proverbs in our midweek service that brother Rody is sharing. I am the one in charge as always with our live streaming and recording. We now have a tv program that is aired every Thursday and Friday. I am forwarding every detail to the station for it to be viewed by the entire city.

November 7 (Sunday Worship)

In our first Sunday of the month worship here in Tuguegarao, our attendance is slowly getting back to normal. The alert level in our area is already down that only those who are below 12 are no longer allowed to go out. Some of the brethren are still afraid to go out that's why they prefer to watch the worship on facebook.

In the afternoon, at Palca, our attendance is down because many are sick. Even before the worship starts, some brethren already told me that they cannot come because of illness. It is already cold in our area and we are not used to this kind of weather. Even my kids are already having asthma because of the weather. I preached to them about "Where you stand depends on where you sit".

In Dagupan, we have a better attendance. I also preached the same lesson to them. We have again new visitors and they are asking bibles. Hope and pray that we can provide one for them.

November 10 (Midweek service)

Our study on the book of Proverbs continuous. Little by little, our attendance is growing. We usually have an average attendance of 40 every Wednesday but 120 on Sundays. Many cannot come during night time because of transportation problems.

November 14 (Sunday Worships)

We also study book of Proverbs on Sundays here in Tuguegarao. We are hoping to finished it until January. It is good to learn about the wisdom shared by King Solomon.

In the afternoon, at Palca, I preached to them about "Abraham's surrender". Many are still sick. Most of the brethren here are above 50 and even our song leader cannot join us because of kidney problems. My wife also didn't come because she is sick.

In Dagupan, I shared to them "Genesis 1". They wanted me to share the chapter because they wanted to be clear on what they are studying in school especially about the false teaching of science.

November 17 (Midweek service)

Our study went very well again. We are now back to normal. There are even additions in our attendance. Those who are not coming before the pandemic are already joining us.

November 18 (Gospel Meeting)

We travelled to the town of Barucboc, Quezon to preaches in the congregation in the area. Brother Edgar Lingbawan is their local preacher. They do not have any chapel yet that's why we met again under a tamarind tree. I am the first speaker of the activity and I shared about the "True Church of Christ" then followed by brother Rody who preached "Entering the church". After the sermon, three precious souls confessed their faith and was baptized in the near pool.

November 21 (Sunday worship)

Our worship here at Tuguegarao is very edifying once again. As we study the book of proverbs, we learn a lot of the things we needed to fix in our lives. Even after our worship, I tried to study it more because it interests me to share it also to our brethren at Palca and Dagupan in the next months.

In the afternoon at Palca, I am happy to see our brethren who are sick that are now with us. We have a good attendance. I shared to them about "Lot's Wife".

In Dagupan, we also have a good attendance with additional visitors. I also preached the same lesson.

November 24 (Midweek service)

We are now on the Proverbs 17. Brother Rody did a great job again sharing the proverb.

November 26 (Gospel Meeting)

I am again invited to be one of the speakers in a Gospel Meeting. This time, it is in Alibago Church where brother Rody is preaching. Brother Willie Pastor preached first and he shared about "The Church" followed by brother Jerome who shared "Spiritual Pollution" and I preached as the last speaker with the lesson "Lot's wife". After the preaching, one precious soul confessed his faith. Mr. Marlon Perocho who is just living beside the church building finally decided to obey the gospel. It's been many years that they are sharing him the gospel and this time, he finally obeyed it. We brought him in the river here in Tuguegarao. It was very dark in the area and muddy but we still baptized him with the help of brother Jimmy Duque.

November 28 (Sunday Worship)

In our worship here at Tuguegarao, we studied Proverbs 17:6-15.  Our attendance is about a 100. The brethren are already coming and I am hoping that until the end of the year, we can already be in our normal number in attendance.

In Palca we again have a great number of attendance. I preached to them about "Mistakes of Naaman". There are still brethren who are saying they are sick.

In Dagupan, I preached also the same lesson. Many seats are empty this time because most of the young people are in the health center getting their vaccines.

November 30 (Gospel Meeting)

We went to a mountainous area in the Apayao Region to share again the wonderful message of our Lord. It is the congregation of brother Alex Genilba at Karikitan Church. It is almost 3 years that I haven't gone to their congregation and I am happy to see that they already have a chapel. I am again asked to be the first speaker and I preached about "What heaven is like?" then followed by brother Rody who preached "The needs of the glorious church". No baptism in the meeting but everyone are happy and edified by our presence and the message they heard. It was raining hard when we finished and the highway is about 500m away.  We got very wet when we arrived in the car.

December 2 (Gospel Meeting)

We traveled again for about 3 hours to reached another congregation. Brother Alex Lagat invited us to preached in the two congregations he is preaching. In the morning, we were at Capadeco Church where most of the brethren are the natives or what we called Aetas. They live in a six foot houses with just dirt as their bird. Unlike before, they live in houses made of leaves. We are happy to share simple gifts for their daily needs and especially for them to understand what the Lord wants. After the preaching, 6 precious young souls obeyed the gospel. We baptized them in a clean canal nearby.

In the afternoon, we went to Limbus Church. I still remember that this is the last place we visited before the lockdown of the entire country last year. It is very edifying to see that the time we visited them last year, it is just the start of the sharing to them, and now they have already grown in number. They also have a land to build their chapel already. Preaching was done and three precious souls where baptized. It should be four but the young lady seems not sure yet of what she is doing.

December 3 (Gospel Meeting)

We also scheduled a Gospel Meeting at Palca Church and we invited three speakers, brother Jay Gumpad, brother Jerome Forelo and brother Rody Gumpad. Brother Jay shared about "Pinnochio Christian" then followed by brother Jerome who shared about "Unity in Truth" and finally brother Rody preached about "Unity". The chapel was full that we needed to put chairs outside. Brethren from Dagupan also came to join us. No baptism but I am happy to see our two visitors who always join us in our activities. I am praying that in the next days, they will also obey the gospel.

December 5 (Sunday Worship)

Our first worship of the month of December here in Tuguegarao is again a wonderful blessing from the Lord. Our attendance is already back to the normal of 110. We continue with our study on the book of Proverbs.

In the afternoon at Palca, I shared to them the lesson about "The Pharisee and the Publican". After the worship, I talked to one of our visitor. For a little time, I explained to her the importance of being in the Lord's church.

In Dagupan I also preached the same lesson, many of our brethren are already wearing jackets because it's very cold and we are only having the worship outside of the house of brother Enzo.
