It was all answered using the bible and they are all satisfied with it.
November 8 (Funeral Services)
We traveled to Babalag, Kalinga to have services in the wake of a friend and brother. We first went to the wake of Mr. Jesus Mary Sr., he is the father-in-law of sister Rowena who is from the congregation I am preaching at Dagupan. Her in-laws are professionals (Dentists) and are all Catholics. Even sister Rowena's husband is a Catholic. They are staying in Babalag and are joining the worship services in the area. We have a service in their house. It was only there family who is there because it is morning. Usually, visitors come after work in the afternoon.
After that, we went directly to the wake of brother Geronimo Ganela. He is one of those first preachers of the Church here in our region. Many look up to him, including me, because of his faith. We can add him to the heroes of faith in Hebrews 11 if only we can do it because of all the things he did for the Lord's cause. We also held a service there to give comfort to the family.
November 9 (Bible study)
We went to Goran, Amulung where brother Elias Pagulayan is preaching. This is a newly opened congregation and there are just having worship services from houses of brethren. But this time, they put up a small tent for us to use. Brother Rody shared the lesson "Needs of the glorious church". Invitation was extended and there are 9 who confessed their faith. We brought them to the water. It is not a river but an area that was flooded because of the non-stop rain. Before they were baptized, I explain to them more things they needed to know before and after baptism.

This is the day that we should be flying to Cebu and join the lectureship where brother Harry Osborne should be teaching, but the flight was cancelled due to typhoon. The next day (Tuesday), Jay and I decided not to join the flight and just stay here in Tuguegarao to help our brethren in case they needed to evacuate from their houses while brother Rody and sister Tessie went ahead to Cebu. The typhoon ended Monday night but another typhoon came Thursday night.
November 13 (Tracts distribution and bible study)
We are thankful that the weather during this day was a little bit better. Only few raindrops that makes it possible for us to do tracts distribution in Aquib, Piat where brother Dennis Yuson is preaching. After the tracts distribution, we had the bible study at the house of family Tablac. Their whole family are Christians and we are there to edify them more. Brother Jay Gumpad shared a good lesson.

In the afternoon, at Palca, I also preached the lesson "The Value of our soul". While in Dagupan, brother Robert preached the lesson "Life of Peter".

November 19 (Bible study)
Brother David Malupeng invited us to Cannaman, Enrile for a bible study. It is also a new established congregation about 2 months ago. According to them, they gather for worship in houses of brethren where they are comfortable to stay. It is is raining, they stay in one house, if it is hot, they move to another house. It all depends on the weather.
Brother Jimmy Duque and Jerome Forelo shared good lessons while we help in leading songs and prayers. We had the invitation and four of them confess their faith. One of them have autism. She also joined in the confession and even answered to the question. We went to a near pond and baptized them.

November 20 (Tracts distribution and bible study)
We traveled to Minagbag, Quezon where brother Jay Gumpad and James Attaban are preaching. WE distributed bible tracts first then we had a bible study at the house of a sister. I forgot her name but according to them, she hasn't been in the church for a year already. We are there to help her understand the importance of being a faithful Christian. We can be named as a Christian but it doesn't stop there. We have lots of obligations to do in order for us to received the salvation we are hoping. Brother Jayson Tanguilan led the study and he shared on the life of Job.
In the evening, in our midweek service here in Tuguegarao, brother Rody shared the "Five things we need to do with the word of God". November 23 (Funeral service)
James invited me to go with him in the wake of Mrs. Jennylin Camayo who is a non-Christian but her husband it. We are thankful for the opportunity that we can share the truth to them. The parents of Jennylin are members of a denomination church and so they have questions regarding the truth that we speak.

November 24 (Sunday Worship)
For our bible study here in Tuguegarao, brother Flor continued his lesson on Luke 16:13-18. While in the sermon, brother Rody preached on the book of Joshua.
It is the last Sunday of the month and our schedule in Palca and Dagupan is at 12 noon. Brother Robert went to Palca while I went to Dagupan.

I preached the lesson "The Value of Soul" also but added some points regarding the need for baptism because Polo Ligsay sent me a message Saturday evening that he is thinking of baptism already. He's been joining our worship for a month already. After the sermon, we had the invitation and we are happy that he finally decided to obey the gospel. We brought him to the baptistery at Palca and baptized him there.

November 25-28 (Funeral and Burial Services)
One of our brethren here in Tuguegarao passed away November 21 but it was only in the 25th to 28th that I was able to join the services because I've been in other works. The brethren who passed away is brother Andy Aquino. He is one of those first converts here in Tuguegarao way back 1985. His wife just died last September 12 because of cancer and now him. It was cardiac arrest that took his life. We have nightly services in his wake and on the 28th, he was laid to rest. It is very hard for sister Cheng and brother Janjan to accept the passing of both their parents but I am sure they understand that this are all part of the plan of God. We are happy that both of them died in the Lord.

The last moment I had with brother Andy is on the 17th when I was the one who preached in our worship. He is asking me for an English bible with larger font because he cannot read well the bible he had with small prints. He wanted to get it to me the next Sunday. But on the 21st, he is gone.
November 27 (Bible study)
There are no more typhoons but it still keeps on raining. We should be distributing tracts also but unfortunately, the rain hinders us.

We went to Lattac, Sto. Nino where brother Jayson Tanguilan is preaching. We had the bible study the their chapel. We were met by our brethren joyfully. They even prepared lunch for us after our bible study.

Brother Mario Garma, who is the shortest among us shared a lesson and his topic is also from the shortest man mentioned in the bible, "Zacchaeus". It was a good and encouraging lesson of perseverance.

December 1 (Sunday Worship)
We are on the first Sunday in the last month of the year. Time flies so fast and the next thing we know, it is already 2025.

In our bible study, brother Flor completed the chapter on Luke 16:19-31. In the sermon, brother Rody shared the lesson on "Judges". In the afternoon, on our way going to Palca, there are a lot of cars and causes heavy traffics on some areas. The reason is, the catholics go to Piat where they have their idol "Our Lady of Piat". They visited it as their false belief that it will give them more blessings. Their object of worship is on a statue that can neither hear them nor save them. It is such a pity because they are believing lies. Even though you tell them the truth, they will even get mad at you.

I preached in Palca about "Joseph, the father of Jesus" and why God chooses him to be Jesus's father. Most of the time, when December comes, we always here about the birth of Jesus, about Mary, about the wise men everywhere but not about Joseph who is also a big part on the life of Jesus.
In Dagupan, brother Robert preached the lesson on "Body, Soul and Spirit". He discussed it well and our brethren learned a lot.

In the evening, I failed to attend our midweek service because I had a migraine. The cause is our work in Bantay. It was very hot at first then after a little while, it rains.

October 5

We went to the Gospel Meeting at Malapiat Church where brother Edwin Soriano is preaching. He stop preaching years ago but now we are glad that he came back and continued the work in that place. Some of the brethren also came and we also have 4 non-Christian in attendance.

October 10

We were invited by brother Celso Jacobo in Masisit, Baggao. Maybe this is the place where I walked more than 3 kilometers just to distribute bible tracts. We went to three different villages. And for the last part, we had a bible study in a house of a brother. He became unfaithful for so long and we are encouraging him to come back to church.

When we are traveling back home, heavy rain pours. The elders here at Tuguegarao decided to cancel our midweek service. It will be hard for the brethren to come to church.

October 13 (Sunday Worships)

I got a call very early from brother Jay Gumpad asking me to go with them in Minagbag. He wants me to talk to an erring brother who is causing problems in their congregation. The members are afraid of what he might do. He wants me to help them talk to him. Unfortunately, that brother didn’t come and as of the writing of this blog, they told me that he is no longer going to church. His family said that he was brought to the Psychiatrist and may take some time for him to recover.

Brother James preached the sermon entitled “The Lion’s Den” and I led in our prayer.

In the afternoon, it was the part of the young men to preach in the congregation. In Palca, Jhian was the one scheduled. He preached about “Why do Christian Suffer?”. Brother Robert is not with us because he was sick during that time. In the end, I made a short summary and additional points in the lesson.

In Dagupan, Dave preached about “Worshipping idols”. Just like in Palca, I also share additional points in the lesson.

October 16

We went to Santiago, Iguig for another wave of tracts distribution. By God’s help, we went to a house where a young mother is living. Her relatives are members of the Lord’s church and she even attended services. We had a bible study in their house. After the study, she decided to obey the gospel. We brought her to the near river and she was baptized.

In our midweek service in the evening here at Tuguegarao, we had brother Jetmark Ramirez as our invited speaker. He preached about “The treasure entrusted to you”. We are thankful that we have a good weather. For the whole month of October, there are only a few days wherein we had this good kind of weather.

October 19

We went to Dagupan for the invitation of sister Leah and brother Albert Mangulad. It was there grandsons 7th birthday and also their 25th year wedding anniversary. As a way of celebrating, they invited us in their house to have a bible study, to thank God for all the blessings given to them.

October 20 (Sunday Worships)

In our bible study, brother Lance Panopio discussed Luke 13:18-30. He is one of the young men who is able to teach in the congregation. He is now getting better and better. In the sermon, I was able to preached “There I will meet thee” that is in Exo 25:9–22.

in the afternoon, the brethren at Dagupan asked us if we can have the worship there at 1pm and so brother Robert was the one who went there and I stayed in Palca. I also preached the same lesson there.

October 23

We went to Nabialan, Amulung where brother Jun Antonio is preaching. We should have tracts distribution first but it was raining the whole time. It was also the arrival of the typhoon in our region. We still pushed through with the work and had a bible study. Thankfully, there is only rains and no strong winds. We successfully completed the work. When we are traveling back home, the typhoon is already starting. The winds are already strong that it is hard to see the road.

In the evening, the elders decided to cancel again our midweek service.

October 24-25 We experience the wrath of the typhoon. Thankfully, it is not that destructive. Even the rain is not that hard. There are areas here in Tuguegarao that are flooded but the water didn’t came from the rain here but in Isabela region. The water that flows in the river in Isabela goes through our region. The water level reaches up to the critical level. Thankfully, it stops before it even goes beyond that.

October 27 (Sunday Worships)

In our bible study here at Tuguegarao, brother Anthony Panopio discussed “Luke 13:31-35” and in the sermon, brother Rody preached on the book of Leviticus. After the sermon, invitation was extended and one precious soul obeyed the gospel.

In the afternoon, the schedule of Palca and Dagupan are the same again for the reason that it was the last Sunday of the month and they always have meetings in their village. This time, I was in Dagupan and I also preached the lesson “There I will meet thee”.

October 29 (Gospel Meeting)

We were invited in the Gospel Meeting at Tanyok Church where brother Ben Vistro is preaching. Their chapel is only small but they are planning to extend it because they are growing. Their speakers where brothers Jerry Moral, Archie Alarcon and Rody Gumpad. Invitation was extended and 7 precious souls obeyed the gospel. We baptized them in an abondened resort. The water was dirty and it didn’t bother them. The water will not wash their sins but their obedience to the gospel.

October 30

We went to Tupang, Alcala where brother Fernando Duque is preaching. There is also a typhoon during that time. It was the second typhoon we experienced in the month of October. When we started with the tracts distribution, there are only a few rainshowers but as time goes by, the rain is getting heavier and the winds blew harder. We needed to find shed to protect us from the rain. We then decided to go in the place for the bible study. We had a succesful bible study. The rain and wind didn’t bother us. We also met an 92 year old man and have a good conversation with him regarding the faith. He already have poor eyesight but still with good memory and strength to do what he wants to do. I hope and pray that he will use that to worship God for the rest of his life.

In our midweek service here at Tuguegarao, we still have brother Archie Alarcon with us. They are staying here in Tuguegarao until Friday. He preached to “Do not add nor subtract to the word”. Brother Jerry Moral is a good song leader and he also taught us new songs that we haven’t sung yet in the church.

November 1 (Gospel Meeting)

We weather is now getting better and we went again to another Gospel Meeting. This time, it was in San Mateo Church where brother Jetmark Ramirez and Reymund Welba are preaching. It was again very hot during that time. It was again brothers Jerry Moral, Archie Alarcon and Rody Gumpad who were the speakers. Invitation was extended and 4 came in front to confess their faith. But when they went to the river, two more were added to those who were baptized.

We have a good number of attendance because the students are back with us. But by Monday, they will already go back to their apartments for their schooling.
